Ah, happy endings. Something I love! I don't know why. Perhaps I watched too many Disney films as a child. Anyway, for this giveaway hop, we're supposed to write about a personal happy ending.
Thankfully, I've had many so far. The first (and one that had to precede some others) was meeting and marrying my husband. We worked together at a Wal-Mart, and I always found excuses to go in when he was working, till my friends got sick of me dragging them in and told him to ask me out. Which he did! We moved in together a year later, and got married three years after that.
That led to two more happy endings - the births of my children. My son and then my daughter a few years later. Some other happy endings would be getting my degrees, getting a job, launching my writing career, and getting a position at work I had thought was out of reach.
Of course, the stories are never really over are they? My stories are still being written. It hasn't always been perfect. Like everyone else, I have my ups and downs. And I can't wait to see how it all turns out!
Since this is a giveaway hop, it has a happy ending for someone, too! I have a copy of my book, Landing the Big Ones for someone who visits my blog! Use the Rafflecopter entry below and I'll draw a winner on January 27th! Don't forget to visit the other sites on the hop - everyone has something to give! Good luck!

ReplyDeleteI love happy endings cause it is a chance to leave the real world and see someone ridiculously happy.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how the happiness of others can cheer you right up. And I'm all for escapism! That's why I write! Thanks for visiting!
DeleteI love Happy endings, because they give me hope and they make me smile.
ReplyDeleteHope is a powerful thing. And smiles are so important. I'm glad you stopped by!
DeleteI love happy endings, because after I've spent time with a character I want them to be happy, just like I hope in real life to have a happy ending
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm writing, it's hard to put my characters through some of the tough times they have to experience in order to grow. So I love being able to give them that happy ending after all the crap. Thank you for stopping by!
DeleteIt's nice to see things work out the way they should in a story!

Definitely! There's so much tragedy in the real world that it's nice to have a story where things actually end up the way they should. Thanks for the visit!

I love HEA because that's the way we always want things to be, but I know that HFN is probably closer to reality for most. But it's nice to believe in the possibilities! I'm glad you could stop by!
DeleteI like HEAs because it makes life a littler happier. Thanks for the giveaway.

I love escaping into a good book - whether I'm reading it or writing it! Sometimes reality is hard to take. I'm glad you could stop by!
DeleteI like epilogues too! (WARNING: BSP to follow: my book, Landing the Big Ones has an epilogue! And you can catch up with those characters in my next book, The Art of Love; Just sayin')
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by!
There are so many times in real life that things don't turn out with a happy ending. When I am reading or watching a movie for entertainment, I want a happy ending because that makes it better than real life sometimes is and it makes me feel hopeful. Thanks for the great giveaway!

Well spoken, Ellen! Thank you for hopping over!
DeleteI love happy endings, they make me feel good, and give me a sense of closure in most cases :)

I hate when a book leaves things without a sense of closure. And a happy closure is the best kind! Thank you for visiting!
DeleteI would say because that's what I want in my life. I want what these books and movies have. I want Mr. Right that's romantic and caring and loving. I just want my HEA ending. Thank you for being a part of this fun and awesome blog hop!!
