What got you started in writing?

I have always had a passion for writing.  When I was a child, my grandfather used to tell me stories in the early morning.  His stories inspired me, and I owe a great deal of my inspiration to him. 

As for erotica, I was a housewife for fifteen years.  It was a long fifteen years consumed by unsatisfied needs and desires.  In my humble opinion, a lonely housewife has the most impressive writing credentials.

How did you feel when you got that first acceptance?

When I received the acceptance email from Siren, I was speechless.  My honey was concerned with the look on my face; thankfully, the beaming smile that followed the look of shock settled his nerves.  I was positively ecstatic!   

What’s your biggest challenge as a brand new author?

The biggest and most difficult factor as a new author is the distractions from the love of my life, my five-year-old daughter.  I adore her, but I find it difficult to squeeze in “just one more scene” during the day.  Thankfully, I have my priorities set, and I manage my time well. 

What’s next for you?

Actually, I have ten book projects that I will be (hopefully) completing by June 2013.  Every book is an erotica, yet some are far more twisted than others.  The genres range from alternative lifestyle erotica to paranormal perversions. I have already begun three books, and I am confident that I can submit them to Siren by the beginning of February. Now that my daughter and I are settled in our new home, I am able to set a schedule and maintain a routine so that I can work consistent and uninterrupted hours during schooldays.
