Sinful Sunday with Siobhan Muir

Happy Easter everybody! Or if you don't celebrate Easter, Happy Sunday! The lovely Siobhan Muir is my guest today for Sinful Sunday. She writes for her readers, but her books are published by Siren and Evernight. She's got an excerpt for us today from her new release.

Thank you for having me on your Sinful Sunday blog spot, Michelle. I really appreciate it. And Happy Easter to all of you!

With that in mind, I want to talk about my newest book A Hell Hound's Fire, a short free read coming out on April 2, 2013. That's in two days! :D Because everyone deserves a gift for Easter.

This short story is an introduction to the town of Cloudburst, Colorado, and all the amazing creatures who live there. Several more stories set in Cloudburst are coming, but for now, I'm introducing Alex MacLaren and Sarah Flanagan. Sarah is a werewolf, Moon Singer, on the run from a demon and needs some protection. Alex is a Hell Hound, one of the rare Moon Singers with the ability to catch fire, and is used to living alone, especially since his last mate died.

For those of you familiar with my Moon Singers from Queen Bitch of the Callowwood Pack, werewolves have the ability to sense their True Mates, and they go a little crazy when they find them. Neither Alex nor Sarah has ever experienced meeting their True Mate…until now.

EXCERPT of A Hell Hound's Fire

Alex pieced together the ingredients for spaghetti with chicken from the freezer, and started cooking as he heard the water upstairs running. Good thing he’d remembered to pay the gas bill and buy a few provisions this month. He’d been staying in a small apartment in town temporarily, despite the danger to his neighbors. Yeah, eight years temporarily.

Alex shook his head. Maybe it was time to return to River House. But he had nothing to keep him here. Lisa was gone and everything here reminded him of her.

The scuff of a boot against the flagstone floor made him look up.

“Supper smells good.” Sarah hovered at the edge of the kitchen. “Can I help with anything?”

“It’s just chicken and pasta. Best I could do on short notice.” He glanced around at the dusty kitchen and chagrin swirled in his gut. “Sorry about the dust. I’ll get to it here in a sec.”

“Let me. I might be tired, but I can still wipe up some counters.”

“Where’s Liam?”

“I convinced him to take the bath.” She bit her lip. “Is that okay?”

“Of course. Damn, I think there are towels in the linen closet behind the bathroom door. Let me go get them.”

“I found them.” She rested her hand on his arm, stalling him. Heat crawled over his skin from her hand, warming him in ways he hadn’t known he needed. “Thank you.”

He fell into her pale green gaze and his heart stirred along with his cock. This one! This one is the right one. His Brother let loose a whine and Alex almost pulled Sarah into his arms and kissed her. But lightning flashed and thunder shook the house, making him jump. He stepped back.

“You’re welcome. All part of the plan to keep you safe. You’ve had a rough time and I’m happy to help.”

Alex glanced out the windows to see rain rattling against the glass in great sheets. “Looks like we caught a break, though.”

A cute crease developed between her auburn brows. “How so?”

“Fitzroy said water confuses demons. I figure between the river and the rain storm, we got it covered.”

“Oh, yes, I suppose you’re right.” She looked so lost and alone he wanted to gather her into his arms and hold her tight.

“It’s going to be okay, Sarah.”

The bleakness of her expression tore at his heart. “Do you know how often I’ve thought those words only to discover they aren’t true? A demon is after me and my son, Mr. MacLaren. Nothing will ever be okay.”

“Hey.” He couldn’t resist grasping her hand and pulling her to face him. “You’ve come here seeking help and that’s what you’re going to get. We’ll get through this and beat this thing. I promise.”

“You can’t promise that, Mr. MacLaren.” She shook her head fiercely. “Everyone who has come into contact with the demon, who has tried to help us – they’re dead.”

“None of them were Hell Hounds, were they? Or dragons?”

Sarah bit her bottom lip. “No.”

“Believe me, that’s what will make the difference this time. We’ll take the demon down and send it packing.”

“How?” She looked up at him and searched his eyes as if the answer scrolled across his face.

“Let’s not worry about it right now. You and Liam need food rest. Let’s start with that.”

He met her gaze and offered his best encouraging smile. Some of the tension left her expression and she tentatively smiled back at him, the hope in her gaze drawing him closer. Before he could think through his actions, he tilted his head and covered her lips with his.

Sarah stiffened with surprise, but with a moan of desperation, she opened her mouth and gave into his kiss. Hot, searing lust spiked through Alex as the taste warm, willing woman and frantic need hit his tongue. The scents of peat bogs and spring hyacinth flooded his nose, and he couldn’t stop from caressing her tongue with his.

Mine! Must protect. True Mate. Alex’s Brother surged forward and made him tighten his grip on the delicious woman in his arms. He wanted to question the “True Mate” bit, but lust, need, and her scent swamped his mind until emotion ruled him.

Alex growled and pressed Sarah up against the counter, one arm wrapped around her back, his other hand spearing through her silken ponytail. The auburn strands felt like satin rope and he tightened his fist, dragging her head back. She whimpered and her nails dug into his back through his shirt as she wrapped one leg around his thigh. She ground her mound against his rock-hard cock and he swore his eyes rolled back in his head.

Want. Want her now. True Mate. Tugging her head back again, he broke the kiss and licked her throat, lust demanding he mark her as his. He worked his hand between their bodies and stroked the crotch of her jeans, the heat and dampness there searing his fingers. Feral need exploded through him and the scent of her arousal insisted he mate with her immediately.

And he would have, except the pasta pot boiled over right beside them.

They broke apart, Alex scrambling to turn down the heat on the stove. His cock throbbed against the fly of his jeans, mourning the loss of Sarah’s warmth, but guilt hit him straight between the eyes. What the fuck am I doing?

Thanks so much for stopping by today. If you're not familiar with my storytelling style, A Hell Hound's Fire comes out April 2nd on Smashwords for free. Feel free to tell your friends about it.

Love can be found in the most unlikely places, even the heart of a Hell Hound.

Alex MacLaren figures he'll never find love again after his mate dies. As one of the rare Hell Hound werewolves, his chances are slim to none. And slim went home. When the local Morukai shaman calls on him to protect a lovely Irish werewolf and her young son from demons, he can't help but take the job.

Sarah Flanagan is desperate to save her son Liam from the deadly monster trailing them, but she's out of options and places to hide. She lost her mate the last time she encountered a demon, and with Liam depending on her, the stakes are far higher this time. After meeting Alex, she's not sure about the Hell Hound, but she’s no fool. He’s their best hope for survival... and hers for another chance at love.

Thanks again for having me today, Michelle, and happy reading everyone! :)

Follow This! Diane Leyne

Today I'm thrilled to welcome new author and fellow Canuck Diane Leyne to my blog. Though honestly, the woman publishes books so fast, she's practically an old pro now. We were release day sisters for her first book (No Place Like Home) on Feb. 21, and she just had her third released last week, with more scheduled. Lucky for her readers! Anyway, I'm going to turn it over to her. Enjoy!

What got you started in writing?
I've always been a big reader.  I love all sorts of popular fiction, mystery, suspense, thrill, romance, erotica.  In other words, I just plain love to read.  I've always enjoyed writing, but for many years it was just for school and then for work.  I made on or two attempts in the 90s, but I really never put everything in to it.  And traditional publishing is very hard to break into.  Forget submitting a book to a publisher.  First you have to write the book and then you have to find the agent.   But if you don't have a track record, you can't get an agent and if you don't have an agent you can't get published and develop a track record .

Finally, a couple of years ago I discovered Siren Publishing and started devouring their books.  Looking at their website, one day I clicked on their "Submissions button".  I realized that not only did you not need an agent to submit to Siren, but they had a minimum requirement of only 20,000 words which made writing my first one far less intimidating.

How did you feel when you got that first acceptance?
I was over the moon.  I was at work and I hadn't told anyone about the submission.  I was bouncing in my chair shouting "they're going to publish it" and everyone thought I'd lost  my mind.

What’s your biggest challenge as a brand new author?
The toughest is building an audience and also trying to understand what my readers would like to read.  Part of writing is pleasing yourself, but you also have to make sure that you are leaving your readers satisfied.

What’s next for you?
I have two series coming out.  Siren has accepted the first six books in the Club Libertine series and the Doms and sub at a (fictional) BDSM club in the Pacific Northwest.  The first book came out March 21st.  Book two, the Librarian and the Dom, is scheduled for April 11th.

They have also accepted the first book in my new ménage shape shifter series, Call of the Wolf.

Club Libertine 1, Changing the Rules, is the story of Michelle, Mac and Sean.  Ten years earlier, Michelle and Mac were young, in love and living together with his best friend Sean, who also loved Michelle.  One night, they end up in a ménage and the next morning, Michelle panics.  She'd been raised very conservatively and already felt guilty about living with Mac.  She couldn't deal with the three-some and ran away.  In the present, Michelle, now a successful lawyer, finds herself heading west to see Mac and Sean to try to pay off a loan her family has run up and is about to default on.  She's shocked by the amount of the debt and by the fact that they want her to spend the next month as their sub if they forgive the debt.

She still loves them and looks at this as a second chance, but will their residual hurt and distrust stand in the way of all their happiness?

True Confessions: Don't Piss Me Off or I May Be Forced to Kill You In A Book

This past weekend meant a visit from my beloved Mother-In-Law, hereinafter to be referred to as "The Bitch". Honestly, my hubby is lucky I love him because his mother is enough to drive anyone round the bend.

Me after The Bitch left my house.
Image from www.freedigitalphotos.net

She's hated me from the start. I think the first thing I did wrong was sleeping in that weekend - the first one I'd had off in months when I was working 16 hour days at two jobs. It went downhill from there. The Bitch is a yeller. She yells about everything. In my family, yelling only happened if there was serious trouble. She yelled if a coat didn't get hung up.

Since then, The Bitch has become much more passive-aggressive. "Well, if you want to do it that way, fine." And she has all kinds ways of getting under my skin. She criticizes my housekeeping, my parenting abilities, my lack of willingness to serve 7 vegetables with Christmas dinner. If I do it, it's wrong. She doesn't say it directly. But here's an example: My son had finished with his dinner and was annoyed at being made to stay at the table watching everyone else eat (something I personally don't understand). She says, "You sit right there until we excuse you. Grandma has rules."

See what The Bitch did there? The subtext came through loud and clear. "Mommy and Daddy don't have any rules."

Now that I'm writing a lot more, I'm trying to think of ways to include her in a book. Especially if it means I can kill her off. Does that make me a bad person? Probably better to figure it out on paper than to actually act on it I think. The only problem is, she's so ridiculous, it seems like a bad cliche.

But aside from providing writing fodder, there is one other good thing about The Bitch. She lives 400 miles away and doesn't drive. :)

Sinful Sunday with Shae Shannon

Today I'm thrilled to welcome new author Shae Shannon to my blog. This woman totally cracks me up on Facebook all the time and can brighten up my day when it's been crap. So I'm showing her some love! Shae's first book is being released by Siren on March 27th, and her second has recently been accepted by Siren so there are more great things to come from this talented writer!

Hello!  I am so excited to be on the amazingly talented writing guru, Michelle Graham’s Sinful Sunday Blog!  It is an honor.
I wracked my brain trying to figure out what direction to go with the ‘sin’ aspect of this, and it slammed into me out of nowhere… What isn’t sinful about writing juicy, steamy, panty twisting books?  I sit perched on my couch, usually not in the most decent attire, (sin) with a glass of wine or a Captain Morgan and Coke.  (Sin.)  I dream up the hottest, sexiest, hunks of man meat that I can, and start thinking dirty thoughts about them as I pour it on paper.  Now, I don’t know about other authors, but I always get pulled into the book and become a part of it.  Whether I am reading one or writing, I become the tantalizing siren who gets the hero, or heroes (when the book is really good.)  (Sin, sin, ugh I quit counting.)  The naughty things that I... oops... I mean my heroine does goes beyond the ‘sin’ level and into the ‘oh please’ phase.  In my new release, ‘The Beginning of Eternity-Decadent Delights’, Giselle finds some hot vampire lovin’ that will leave you feeling tingly.  It is the first in the series, and I have big plans for it.  I hope you fall in love with each of the characters as they unfold the way I have.  Thank you for letting me confess, and happy reading!

Follow This! Tara Rose

Okay folks, it's not True Confession Tuesday, but I have to tell you, I goofed up.

My friend Tara Rose, a new Siren-exclusive author, was scheduled to be part of this feature today. She did the interview and sent me her book covers.

And I managed to lose them. I was not as on top of things as I normally am (Mother-In-Law visit starts today and the house needed to be cleaned) and I didn't notice until late last night - actually I guess it was really early this morning. So my sincere apologies to Tara! I will try to get her back for another interview next month.

In the meantime, let me tell you about her new series, Racy Nights, which is set in the town of Racy, Indiana. The first book is now available and the second is on pre-order and will be released March 29. Check out Tara's author page on Bookstrand to see all the covers. They're hot!

Big Cocks and Shamrocks Blog Hop

With a title like, "Big Cocks and Shamrocks", I could not resist joining this blog hop!

So - let's talk about big cocks.

Doing a Google search on penis size can certainly yield some interesting results. But the best thing I found was the "World Penis Size Map".

Yes ladies (and gents if that's what you're into), you can now determine where to find the biggest schlongs in the world. It would certainly make for some interesting tourism brochures. "Come visit the Congo - Our cocks beat them all!"

Right.

Anyway, discovering this map was the result of my efforts to determine how much truth there is to the rumour/myth/urban legend that Irish men have small dicks. According to this handy dandy map, the Irish measure up at precisely 5 inches when erect. This is right in the middle of the scale, meaning they truly are average.

I've heard anecdotal evidence to suggest that the Irish are larger than that (ahem -  Colin Farrell sex tape), and also that they are smaller.

But does size really matter?

Pros of Big Cocks

  • that oh-so-full feeling
  • makes some sex positions easier
  • nice to look at
  • good employment prospects as a porn star or stripper
  • some scientific evidence suggests that women achieve vaginal orgasm more easily with a long schlong
Cons of Big Cocks
  • potentially painful intercourse
  • oral sex is more difficult
  • over-inflated egos (they're 'cocky')
  • more difficulty maintaining erection
I guess it ultimately depends on what you like. Each person has their own sexual preferences. Personally, I'm happy with my Irishman (I love you honey!), though perhaps a visit to the Congo might be nice in the future.

What do you think? Does size matter? Leave me a comment and use the Rafflecopter to enter my draw, as well as the draw for the Grand Prize! Plus, visit the other participants for a chance at more great prizes!

Follow This! Kelly Whitley

Kelly Whitley is my guest today on Follow This! Her new book, Into the Red is a must-read if you love vampires, romance, and suspense. Read on to learn more about her and and an excerpt from her book.

What got you started in writing?
I work in the medical field, and an idea about the way I saw vampires wouldn’t go away. I saw them as being similar to humans—born, not made—but with some key paranormal differences. After being an avid reader for years, I decided to give it a shot and try my hand at writing.

How did you feel when you got that first acceptance?
Excited, and then scared. Could I bring this thing to fruition with an editor and a publisher?

What’s your biggest challenge as a brand new author?
The promotion. Although I’d set up a platform before I ever submitted my first manuscript, the day-to-day reality of promo remains a challenge.

What’s next for you? I’m working on a couple of novels and two short stories right now. At some point, I hope to write the story of a couple of the secondary characters in Into the Red.

Where can fans find you?

BLURB:
Human blood is an illicit and highly addictive drug--if you're a vampire. Known as Red, its side effects are insanity, and eventual death. A group of Red-addicted vampires known as Poisoners are killing women as part of an extortion plot involving a lost ancient vampiric tome, and they’re leaving a trail of bodies in their wake. The discovery of each new victim risks exposure of the entire vampire race to humans. Then one victim survives…

Dr. Evan Nichols, oncologist and vampire, lives a monk-like existence, by his own choice, focusing on patient care and research to benefit his vampire brethren. It’s been twenty-five years since his world turned upside down—the night he lost his fiancée and discovered his hidden vampire heritage. Now his government has ordered him to take a mate—or they’ll choose one for him. It’s a horrible prospect, and one that might push him over the edge—until Fate throws him together with a human female.

Wary of relationships, Tara West has poured her energies into work and inventing cutting edge climbing equipment. She doesn’t like the gorgeous Dr. Nichols, yet finds herself unaccountably drawn to him.

When a crazed vampire attacks and poisons Tara, Evan rescues her. With time running out, he has to create an antidote to the poison before he loses his chance at love.

In order to make the vaccine which might cure her, he has to find the bastards who poisoned her and take their venom—before they die of their addiction. If he doesn’t reach them in time, saving her will be impossible.

Thus the journey begins—into the Red!

EXCERPT:
The caged light above the emergency exit cast a pallid purple glow over the alley and the pair coupling against the brick wall. Barely twenty feet away he watched, hunkered down in the murk of the shadows, thinking about the merits of killing them both, or waiting for the girl to be alone.

The bar catered to the darker element; men who came to drink, drug, and fornicate. Dangerous men. Men who committed violent crimes as easily as they breathed. Few women frequented this establishment. Most of the females present worked there as waitresses with benefits for purchase, for the men with sex on their minds.

Management took a cut of everything—the liquor, the drugs, and the sex. He also knew the management dictated who did what to whom and when, so it had been just a matter of time before a pair left the bar for the privacy of the alley.

The guy from inside the bar was clean, well-dressed in something other than biker gear and blue jeans, and wasn’t drunk or high.

Which was better than usual.

Hidden, he watched while the man finished and then disappeared back inside. The girl stayed in the alley. A match flared as she lit a cigarette and walked in tight circles by the back door. Based on his observations, he knew she wanted to attract a customer who didn’t come from the bar.

A quickie.

She didn’t realize she’d just sealed her own fate. It would be a quickie. A hell of a quickie.

He separated from the shadows and approached her from the end of the alley. He wasn’t clean, well dressed, or sober.

Which was worse than usual.

But he did have fifty bucks. He bit back a laugh as he caught the expression on her face—half victory, half revulsion. She took his money, tucking it into her bra before turning to face the rough brick of the building.
He leaned into her, pressing her chest against the alley wall and inhaling the smell of her neck as he yanked up her skirt and entered her from behind. He ran his hands over her body, relishing the feel of her soft skin as he plunged into her, ignoring her little yips of pain.

As he slammed into her and finished, the leech of his addiction demanded satisfaction, and he snaked an arm around her throat. For a moment she didn’t react, then the fragrance of her relief gave way to the smoky scent of panic. She lashed out, connecting with the unforgiving brick wall. Her struggles kicked his anticipation into overdrive, and he sank his teeth into the exploding pulse of her fear.

Within a few seconds, her legs gave out, leaving her limp against the wall; he supported her around the waist. Anyone encountering the scene would assume they’d not yet concluded their transaction. The ache of withdrawal eased its way into euphoria as the Red hit his bloodstream.

With jerky movements, he laid the body out of sight behind the filthy packing boxes before grafting himself to the shadows.

Soon, another couple would exit the bar for an outdoor tryst.

And he’d be watching.

Really Random Wednesday: Road Trip Edition

*UPDATE* Found a computer!

I didn't get a post for today done ahead of time and I'm not near a computer so I'm experimenting with the Blogger app on my phone. My apologies in advance for any weird typos or autocorrect mishaps.

Yesterday was a very exciting day for me. I received my first print copy of my first book! It was so cool to open the Amazon package and find the latest book from one of my favorite authors (Kim Harrison rocks!) and my own book, written by me, right alongside it. When I opened it up and saw the words I had written printed on the pages, I teared up a bit. It really brought home to me that I am a published author! I have finally achieved a dream I have had since I was a kid.

But I am not going to rest on my laurels.  Now that I have one book printed, I plan to have a whole shelf. The Art of Love should be in print in a month or so and I can add that. Yesterday I also got the edits back for my next book, Training the Help, due out April 27. I have book 4 about 1/3 done and ideas for a whole bunch more rattling around in my head.

Thank you to Siren Publishing for taking a chance on me, and to all my readers who have supported my work. I plan to give you lots more to read in the future!

Want to buy my book in print? It's available from Amazon or Barnes & Noble

Excerpt:

The music had become upbeat since we entered. Nellie gently swung her hips while one hand snapped in rhythm to the beatnik-like tune. The drummer and the guitarist played it hip in dark sunglasses, as if posing for a fashion shoot. The spiky haired bass player soulfully strummed his instrument like it was an extension of himself. I wanted to be his groupie ready to take on his deep throbbing melody.
Around us, groovy patrons found their swing. With arms waving and bodies gyrating, they crowded the floor.
“Is this jazz feel too cool for you, Guy?” I asked.
He propped his chin on both hands, staring at us through blurry eyes and gesturing more gracelessly as the orange liqueur took hold.
“In this state,” he mumbled without moving his jaw, “I could even listen to Barry Manilow.”
He downed his drink as if it was water waiting for a marathon runner.
“Come on guys,” I said. “There’s a party in full swing. Why aren’t we dancing?”
I shuffled my feet into the crowd, holding hands with my drinking companions. We oozed into the jumbled rhythmic pulse of the bodies twisting and spinning around us. There was no Warwick or Pedro here to make me sad, just a group of friendly strangers sharing the beat.
Guy created his own tempo as his hands clapped out of synch. Even his wings got into the act, making him look like a seagull caught in a fishing net. Maudi’s upper half gyrated back and forth, yet still poised like the cultivated lass she was.
I danced with them but somehow in my own space, wanting to shed my skin and take the joy of this party home with me, albeit with just the bass player. The primal pulse of his talents would inject the same life into me as he was to his instrument. We’d come alive, sweaty, breathless, ecstatic!
“Allan, darling,” said Maudi. She leaned over to my ear like Mata Hari about to share a password. “That bass player is sober. You are drunk.”
“So?”
“So if you approach him you’ll look like a sleazy rogue.”
“How did you know I was interested in him?”
“Sweetheart, nobody here can miss your unsavory curiosity. You’re slobbering over him like he’s a juicy peach.”
“And how I’d love to nibble on that peach. And that banana as well.”
“Dear, take the matter in your own hand. No one will get hurt.”
“What about friction rash?”
She shook her head. As she pulled away, Guy gazed at me, clawing his hand and purring like a tiger. Was he sending me up or saying he was horny as well? I considered it. My sex life was on life support, but would I go to hell for sleeping with an angel?
From that moment on, the rest of the soirée was a bit of a blur. I recall being chatted up by a sexy bald headed gent in a white safari suit, or at least I’d like to think he was chatting me up. Guy danced on one of the tables to a jazz version of “Shaft.” Hearing Nellie croon “Shaft” was equally bizarre. A dreamy guy was sung “Happy Birthday” while blowing out candles on a cake.  Some poor elder tripped backward onto the cake. I think a group of girls helped him scrape the baked delights from his shirt, but they seemed a little anorexic so perhaps they were just hungry. I believe a man was dancing in white boxers, or maybe he was a stripper?
“Here, try this.”
While my head was filled with delightfully twisted fantasies of me and the bass player, the birthday boy sidled up and shoved his finger in my mouth. Rich gooey white chocolate melted down my throat.
“Is that the sample pack?”
“If you play your cards right. Besides, I have a mad desire to show off my birthday suit.”
“Do I get to blow out the candle?”
He grabbed the back of my head and pulled my mouth to his moist lips. Our tongues swam, locking us to each other. An addiction I didn’t want to break. I could hear the bass urging me to take this man home. Its sensual strum wouldn’t lead me astray. But this man would, with all the right moves.

Author Bio:
Kevin lives with his long-term partner in their humble apartment (affectionately named Sabrina), in Australia’s own ‘Emerald City,’ Sydney.
From an early age Kevin had a passion for writing, jotting down stories and plays until it came time to confront puberty. After dealing with pimple creams and facial hair, Kevin didn’t pick up a pen again until he was in his thirties. His handwritten manuscript was being committed to paper when his social circumstances changed, giving him no time to write. Concerned, his partner, Warren, snuck the notebook out to a friend who in turn came back and demanded Kevin finish his novel. It wasn’t long before Kevin’s active imagination was let loose again.
His longest running passion is a weekly radio program he produces with Warren for local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander station, Koori Radio. Since 2004 they have been discovering music, both new and old, and interviewing local artists and community leaders. Every Friday night, The Rhythm Divine is heard across Sydney and via the world wide web.

Sinful Sunday with Doris O'Connor

I was thrilled recently to make the acquaintance of Evernight author Doris O'Connor. Amazingly enough, this woman has NINE children (yes you read that correctly) and still finds time to write. I'm in total awe! She's got a new release coming up that she'd love to tell you about, so I'll turn things over to her!

Happy Sinful Sunday to you all, and thanks to Michelle for letting me ramble on here.

She asked me to tell you what is sinful about my book…

Hmm, what isn't, would be a more accurate description, really ;-)

Is there anything more sinful than an escort service aptly named Mr. Satisfaction Guaranteed? I still recall the original spark for the idea behind the series. Hubby and I were sitting in a crowded hospital waiting room, discussing ideas for my books, and he suddenly blurts out, "I think you should do a male prostitute."

*snort*

It cleared the room… Anyhoo, from that spark a series grew—a very naughty BDSM themed series.

In this installment we have some m/m action and some m/f/m play, spanking, bondage, and some public exhibition and inappropriate use of raspberries.

Have I got you intrigued yet?

Mr. Satisfaction Guaranteed releases March 13th with Evernight Publishing.

Blurb:
Mr. Satisfaction Guaranteed, the card said – what a pretentious name for an escort.

Still, cancer survivor Natasha has to do something to reclaim her sexuality after her reconstructive surgery, and he comes highly recommended, by her mother no less.

When she meets the experienced Dom, he makes every submissive bone in her body sing, and wish for things that can never be. Or can they? Fantasy fulfillment is all well and good, but she is just another client.

As they test all of her boundaries, will their one night heal her, or break her?

Excerpt:
"I want you to play, pet. Play, or safe word out. Those are your two options. I suggest you use them wisely."
The pressure on her shoulders increased, just enough to get slightly painful, and she took a deep breath. She could do this. She wanted to really. She ran her fingers over the keys, the movement so familiar, yet strange after all this time, and she shut her eyes.
Something haunting he'd said. How very fitting. Without any conscious thought on her part, her fingers flew, and she lost herself in the music. Tears gathered and dropped on her hands, yet still she played, her body swaying with the music. By the time the last few notes of Chopin's Nocturne in E minor had drifted off into the ether, she felt at peace. Natasha floated on the high that playing the piano had used to give her all the time, before her cancer treatment had blown up her fingers and made playing impossible. She acknowledged the thought, but caught in her bubble of happiness and achievement, it did not have the power to hurt her just then.
When she opened her eyes, it was to find SG watching her. Heat rose in her cheeks, and her cunt clamped when she realized what she was witnessing.
He was leaning against the piano, his legs spread wide, and Jonas was giving him head. She sucked in a breath and hastily pulled her eyes back up to SG's face. He smiled at her, and against her better judgment her gaze darted downwards. Jonas chose that moment to come up for air, and her clit clenched in need when she got her first proper view of SG's cock. Slick from Jonas's mouth it glistened and quivered. Jonas put one hand on SG's thigh and grasped the other man's heavy ball sac with the other. Jonas squeezed and then sucked one testicle into his mouth. SG's groan of pleasure made her breathing hitch. She shouldn’t be witnessing this moment, but she couldn't drag her gaze away either as Jonas ran his hand up and down SG's huge cock. Pre-cum leaked on his fingers, the scent of sex heavy in the air, and Natasha licked her lips. She could almost taste the spicy, salty essence in the air. SG groaned again, the sound so low and sexy, moisture trickled past her pussy lips and onto her thighs.
Who'd have thought that watching two men in action would be such a turn on, let alone that SG would actually give her that particular fantasy. She could feel his gaze on her face, on her breasts and lower, scorching her skin as though he was running his hands over her sweat slicked flesh.
"Touch yourself for me while you watch, pet. You know you want to. But do not come without my permission. "
Natasha balled her hands into fists, horrified to see them in her lap. She seemed to have spread her legs wide, too, giving SG, and Jonas for that matter, should he chose to look across, a perfect view of her wet cunt. She should have been mortified, but instead white hot arousal coursed through her veins. Her breathing grew heavy in tune with the men, and she ran her fingers through her wet slit. A moan escaped her lips, as the familiar tingles started. Circling her clit, she felt it swell under her fingertip, just as SG's cock swelled and pulsed. Jonas set to work in earnest, and SG grabbed the younger man's hair and started to fuck his mouth. Faster and harder they all worked together, to reach the pinnacle. Her fingers fell away as SG came with a roar of completion, and Jonas's throat worked overtime swallowing down his seed. She was so close, so goddamn close, but he hadn’t given her permission to come, and she couldn't push herself over that cliff without it, she just couldn't.
So she stopped, not daring to move, as the cool air on her swollen folds alone started the familiar tingles of bliss. She bit her lip, and dug her hands into the leather of the piano chair. Perspiration broke out all over her body, but somehow she staved off the impending orgasm.
By the time she had herself back under control, Jonas had finished licking SG clean. He pulled the younger man up by his hair and the rough kiss that followed between them had Natasha teetering on the brink again.
Jonas was flushed and breathing so heavily his pants filled the still room when SG broke the kiss. The outline of his erect cock was clearly visible through his fitted trousers, and Jonas groaned when SG took him into a firm grip through the fabric.
"Want to help our boy out here, my pet? I think he deserves a treat, don't you? And as you've been such a good girl you deserve one, too. Jonas here does wonders with his tongue." He patted Jonas's head, and the young man colored and bowed his head in submission.
Natasha couldn't tear her eyes away from the outline of that erection, and SG chuckled. He released Jonas who immediately resumed his previous position on the floor. SG pulled Natasha to her feet so roughly that she would have stumbled, had he not picked her up and set her on the piano. The keys clanged as her feet settled on them. Natasha winced at the sound, before his mouth came down hard on hers and she forgot to think altogether. He tasted just as she imagined he would, raw, masculine, earthy, with just a hint of Jonas's scent still clinging to his firm lips. He shifted, and another set of hands spread her thighs wide, before an extremely skillful tongue delved into her channel, and she screamed into the kiss SG gave her.
He broke the kiss and smiled at her, the warm approval in his eyes her undoing.

Author Bio:
Glutton for punishment would be a good description for Doris... at least that's what she hears on an almost daily basis when people find out that she has a brood of nine children, ranging from adult to toddler and lives happily in a far too small house, cluttered with children, pets, dust bunnies, and one very understanding and supportive husband. Domestic goddess she is not.

There is always something better to do after all, like working on the latest manuscript and trying not to scare the locals even more than usual by talking out loud to the voices in her head. Her characters tend to be pretty insistent to get their stories told, and you will find Doris burning the midnight oil on a regular basis. Only time to get any peace and quiet and besides, sleep is for wimps.

She likes to spin sensual, sassy, and sexy tales involving alpha heroes to die for, and heroines who give as good as they get. From contemporary to paranormal, BDSM to F/F, and Ménage, haunting love stories are guaranteed.

Follow This! Gray Dixon

I had the opportunity to interview up and coming author Gray Dixon.

“What’s to tell?” Gray Dixon asked. The nom de plume of erotica writer of hot, sexy stories for the adult crowd loves walks along the beach at sunset, a glass of wine over a romantic dinner and a night of love.

On the serious side, she’s married to her Dear Heart for many years, has three children, a dog, a couple of fish, a big yard with lots of fruit trees, two cars and a house. Ah, the American Dream she loves to describe. She likes a lot of different things, crafts, watching the History Channel, reality shows (not all, but some), travel, and of course writing. She’s worked hard all her life in many interesting fields and enjoyed all of them, but she finally found enough time to relax and enjoy escaping into the worlds she created through her stories. She mainly writes erotica with BDSM elements, and hopes readers will enjoy the tales she weaves.

What got you started in writing?
Reading. I’ve written for years, but didn’t know if what I had to say would be accepted. Surprise! I got a seven book contract when I pitched my story idea. Now, I’m busy writing frantically to meet the deadlines.

How did you feel when you got that first acceptance?
Elated! After the shock wore off, I had to buckle down and start writing. See I didn’t have one story written when I pitched the idea. So publisher gave me some time to produce the first one and then accepted. I had to get real serious at that point.

What’s your biggest challenge as a brand new author?
The promotion, but I’m hearing that from everyone I’ve met. I’m working on branding my name through the appearance of the covers, social networks, etc.

What’s next for you?
More writing. The book contract takes me through August 2014. I did write a novella, also BDSM themed, over the holidays and is due out April 2013.
