With a title like, "Big Cocks and Shamrocks", I could not resist joining this blog hop!

So - let's talk about big cocks.

Doing a Google search on penis size can certainly yield some interesting results. But the best thing I found was the "World Penis Size Map".

Yes ladies (and gents if that's what you're into), you can now determine where to find the biggest schlongs in the world. It would certainly make for some interesting tourism brochures. "Come visit the Congo - Our cocks beat them all!"

Right.

Anyway, discovering this map was the result of my efforts to determine how much truth there is to the rumour/myth/urban legend that Irish men have small dicks. According to this handy dandy map, the Irish measure up at precisely 5 inches when erect. This is right in the middle of the scale, meaning they truly are average.

I've heard anecdotal evidence to suggest that the Irish are larger than that (ahem -  Colin Farrell sex tape), and also that they are smaller.

But does size really matter?

Pros of Big Cocks

• that oh-so-full feeling
• makes some sex positions easier
• nice to look at
• good employment prospects as a porn star or stripper
• some scientific evidence suggests that women achieve vaginal orgasm more easily with a long schlong

Cons of Big Cocks

• potentially painful intercourse
• oral sex is more difficult
• over-inflated egos (they're 'cocky')
• more difficulty maintaining erection

I guess it ultimately depends on what you like. Each person has their own sexual preferences. Personally, I'm happy with my Irishman (I love you honey!), though perhaps a visit to the Congo might be nice in the future.
